Helping heroes in our community
Thompson has been fortunate to work with medical staff and leadership at Unity Point to create essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) materials for the safety and well being of the patients and medical staff. Thompson designed a visor that holds a clear plastic PPE barrier along with a strap that will hold face masks in place to prevent behind the ear pain and soreness.
Thank you to all of our amazing partners that have teamed up creating thousands of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) materials for the safety and well-being of patients and medical staff for UnityPoint Health. Thompson has partnered with Rocklin Manufacturing, State Steel, Gomaco, WIT, LaunchPad Children’s Museum, Northeast Community College, Krueger Designs, Siouxland Robotics Club, Sioux City Community Schools, Dustyn Jensen, and Mathew Benson to help create ear saving straps as quickly as possible to alleviate the PPE shortage. Adapting and shifting to help heroes in our communities is always important to Thompson.
